برنامج الدبلوم الامريكي

• الهدف من إدخال هذا البرنامج هو توفير جميع الخيارات التعليمية الملائمة  لكل فئات الطلاب والطالبات.
• يمكن البرنامج طلبة المدارس من الحصول على شهادةالتوجيهية الامريكية التي تمكنهم من الدراسة في حامعات تستخدم اللغة الانجليزية كلغة تعليم.
• سيستمر  تقديم البرنامج الوطني السعودي  بالنسبة لمادتي اللغة العربية والتربية الاسلامية لهذه الفئة بنفس الزخم والكثافة في البرنامج السعودي العام.
• زيادة الرسوم الدراسية يعد مبرّراً بالنظر الى الفوائد المتوقعة والمرجوة.
• يتطلب الحصول على البرنامج اجتياز الطالب 26  وحدة دراسية.
• تتطلب كل وحدة  دراسه (120-150) ساعة زمنية
• على جميع الطلاب استكمال 24 وحدة دراسية في المواد الاساسية التالية:

             اللغة العربية- الدراسات الاسلامية-اللغة الانجليزية- الرياضيات- الدراسات الاجتماعية- العلوم –

              الحاسوب-التربية البدنية والصحة.

INTRODUCTION:

     Many parents prefer to send their sons/daughters to high schools which use English as a medium of instruction in order to be able to pursue their undergraduate studies abroad or at local or Arab universities adopting the same medium. However, and because of the critical stage their kids are going through, parents would also like to make sure that these schools provide a safe environment which maintains Arab and Islamic identity. It is for this reason that Kingdom school has decided to introduce the American High School Diploma as of 2007-2008, after an approval of that has been procured from the Ministry of Education. The program provides the requirements of the American high school curriculum in grades 10, 11 & 12 plus the requirements of the Saudi Curriculum in Arabic and Islamic Education. It is also sponsored by the most prominent accrediting body in the world: CITA.

AIMS:

v      The program will enable students to get an American High School Degree which will facilitate their enrollment in universities that use English as a medium of instruction.
